Gao - Thanks for all your help. I used AS 5.1 ( jbm 1.4.3 ) and see that the timer threads go away after i connect/ disconnect n number of times...(except for a few and they don't continue to grow..) But on the server , i do see a bunch of worker threads created and there are in waiting/blocked state even after i disconnect all the connections from the client. Any ideas ?
