Well I guess I found the problem, but still have no solution: JBoss is trying to load the XML-file. It is doing this by using "ObjectModelBuilder" which is referencing "javax.xml.namespace.NamespaceContext" - which is not included in jdk 1.4.2_03.... JBoss tries to be nice, swallows the "ClassNotFound" Exception and tries to load the file in Sun's "config" Format.... which of course does not match... So, what to do now???
