Hi, better open a new thread, as your errors do not seem to be related to the original error. Why did you rename your "web.xml" to "context.xml"? The latter has a totally different structure, its root element is "", not "<web-app>", they don't have much in common. The "default" server is fully web aware. If you want to start the "web" configuration, run "jboss.bat" (or "jboss.sh") with options "-c web".
