Greetings, After having tested a JBoss Portal 2.4.0 app on windows, I deployed it on Linux and got the following exception at the deploment time: org.jboss.deployment.DeploymentException: No META-INF/application.xml found Of course, my EAR, built with ant on windows, does contain the META-INF/application.xml file. Looking in the EAR file on Linux, it seems that it is perfectly valid and I didn't find anything related to the fact that it came from windows or that it was transfered with ftp in binary format. I don't have the option of building the EAR on the target machine (Linux).
