I didnt need to add EntityConverter in components.xml, just updating the namespace to persistence:managed-persistence-context solved the problem. This XML entity is defined in persistence XSD now. However I still have other unresolved issues with the migration to seam 2.0 as mentioned in my other forum post http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=129438. I would really appreciate if somebody from the Seam team advise me on this. I fall back to seam 1.2.1 for now as I can't afford to spend days and weeks on this migration.
