Also, you can always build from subversion by checking out the appropriate version under http://anonsvn.jboss.org/repos/jbossas/projects/aop/tags/ and then executing build/build.sh of the checkout. Note that 2.1.6 and below you need an instance of jrockit for the build to work smoothly (specified in -Djrockit.home when creating the release). Since jrockit is no longer available for download, I could not create a proper 2.1.6 release for upload.
