Try increasing the JBoss cache lock timeout. You can do this for the JBoss Cache configuration under portal-cms.sar/META-INF/jboss-service.xml on the cms.pm.cache:service=TreeCache mbean | <!-- | Number of milliseconds to wait until all responses for a | synchronous call have been received. | --> | <attribute name="SyncReplTimeout">120000</attribute> | | <!-- Max number of milliseconds to wait for a lock acquisition --> | <attribute name="LockAcquisitionTimeout">120000</attribute> | in this case, the values have been bumped from its default values of 20 s and 15 s respectively to 2 min each See if this helps and adjust your wait times based on the size of your archives.
