environment: jboss-portal-2.7.1-bundled.zip running over windows XP pro SP 3 investigating using google gadgets in JBOSS portal. tried the simple hello world gadget the google.com and the gmodules.com url fetched contents are clones of each other just saved the canonical google widget in my own google space. Both are equally accessible which is verified by pasting either url into your browser yet... login as admin / portal objects/default/pick any page / page layout / content type / widget google / gadget URI/ paste the following: http://www.google.com/ig/modules/hello.xml / select: everything works fine..
