We need to modify the jbmq-queue-service.xml descriptors in the following $JBOSS_HOME/server/default/deploy files: smooks.esb management.esb jbpm.esb and replace them with the correct jbm-queue-service.xml files. All of the above ESB's are shipped with AS 4.2.2 by default and thus are wired to MQ by default which won't work when you strip AS of MQ and replace it with JBossMessaging.
