The Seam booking demo works because it has 2 input fields: username and password. If there's only one input field (say only username), it would stop working. It is caused by being alone in the form. I guess the first thing to do is to find out whether this is a Seam bug, or Facelet bug? With this problem, people can't build a user interface as simple as google by using Seam+Facelets.
