[Clustering/JBoss] - clustering and server with different states - jboss-user

Is it possible to have differents states on server nodes of a cluster ?
How managing each server node ? With JMX ?

My application is a multi agent system that I want to distribute on several server. but
one agent can be only on one physical machine.
