Hi lipmanp, I am sure the JBOSS has been installed properly becasue there are another ejb3 things running on this app server without any problem except this seam application. BTW, recently, I discovered that the war file in the ear file cannot access the jboss-seam.jar which is sitting in the ear file, therefore, the user component cannot get instantiated properly.
