[JBoss Seam] - RequestParameter encoding problem - jboss-user

I am using @RequestParameter to pass a chinese String to a sessionbean
but the sessionbean got a unrecognized encoding String

for example /test.seam?val=??
but i cannot get the correct ?? value

how can i do? any help is appreciated
