Look, here's the root cause

Caused by: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError:
javax.interceptor.InvocationContext.getTarget()Ljava/lang/Object;

Between 4.0.4 and JEMS 4.0.4 the package in which the interceptors were changed from
javax.ejb3 -> javax.interceptor.
