I tried the same process for eclipse-devel on FreeBSD with success as follows. 0) Install xulrunner from ports (/usr/ports/www/xulrunner) 1) replace the contents of xulrunner with the contens of /usr/local/lib/xulrunner 2) rewrite MANFESTS accordingly. 3) restart eclipse. Bingo!! I needed to keep the directory name org.mozilla.xulrunner.gtk.linux.x86 (linux!!) , maybe due to it is hard coded in 7 modules using vpe. It is ideal to make it platform independent, but, anyway, it will be applicable to any other platforms that has xulrunner.
