you are correct; we use Seam 1.1.6 because some other frameworks we also use does not work
with later version of Seam (that may have changed recently though, we haven't
religiously checked into them)
Do you mind to educate me on what may be the bug that would cause this weird behavior? is
there anything we can change or workaround without upgrading to later version of Seam?
