[Installation, Configuration & Deployment] - unable to read jboss.server.dir variable - jboss-user

Hi,

I am trying to print jboss.server.dir variable but the output is null

i am doing System.out.println(System.getProperty("jboss.server.dir"));

I am executing this piece of code in  a simple POJO class deployed in JBOSS App server
1.4.

Any pointer to this is greatly appreciated
