The run.bat is present in the bin folder of the JBoss installation folder. So you should "cd" to the bin folder and run the command: D:\jboss_inst\bin\run.bat And if it still does not run after this, please post the exact output, as shown on the console, of the following command here: echo %JAVA_HOME% anonymous wrote : | and noting happens... | just a blank line !!!
