[JBoss Seam] - when and how does the seam create tables in the database? - jboss-user

hi, anybody, who can tell me about when and how the seam create tables in the database?
i think the "import.sql" is executed  after creating tables by seam, but i
can't find any sql statement in the dvdstore example about creating tables, and how
does the seam know the type of database fields?
