There are at least 2 different implementations (available in download sample apps or ICEfaces forum) of the ice:inputfile component working with Seam --without disabling Seam's MultipartFilter. Perhaps you could visit http://www.icefaces.org/JForum/forums/show/22.page and post some of your code to see what is going wrong for you?
