To create a new instance of a portlet, in the Management Portlet: 1) Click Portlets (in the top row of links) 2) Find the porlet in the list 3) In the right-hand side of the window enter a name for the new instance in the text filed above the Create Instance button, and then click the button. Then you can go back to Instances and change the preferences (once the JIRA issue is fixed), and then add the instance to the page of your choice.
