for installing the JBOSS server open the link: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=22866&package_i... click the link: jboss-4.0.4.GA.zip This will start downloading the file. unzip the file that is downloaded. Go to jboss-4.0.4.GA\bin directory and execute run.bat to start the server. If you are in windows environment you can double click the run.bat file otherwise you can type run at console and press return key. There is shutdown.bat file to stop the server.
