Of course you were right, problem one and three were due to the old seam.jar which for some reason was not updated in the ear when I deployed the app. I kinda guessed the button issue by myself, but since IntelliJ didn't offer an autocomplete s:button, I assumed it doesn't exist.. :) Once again, after all the others: I am pleased being helped by the core developer himself.
