[EJB 3.0] - how to check entity bean state change ? - jboss-user

Dear all, 

I have an entity bean which persist to the database, how can i know when the field value
of the entity bean has been change ? 

Because i want to make the application call to update database only when some of the
fields in the entity bean have been change. thanks.
