[EJB/JBoss] - findByPrimaryKey not working with JBoss 3.2.6 & EJB 1.1 - jboss-user

I'm using EJB 1.1 & JBoss 3.2.6 -- all the findByPrimaryKey calls throw a finder
exception.  I've upgraded from Jboss 2.2.2 where they worked.  

Are there any known bugs with that combination - or does anyone have any suggestions?
