[JBoss Seam] - TOMCAT and SEAM with Pure POJOs - jboss-user

I have read the article about configuring a SEAM application for Tomcat :

 My application will not use Hibernate or EJB3 so I wonder if it is possible to setup JTA
without using JPA/Hibernate.
