Hi, Thanks for the response, I wanted to make sure I am not doing something wrong. And no we don't have an app server, and I was just using the JDBCCacheLoader API connecting to MYSQL via JDBC. For the sake of the testing I will try to write a piece of code to use connection pools but I suppose in the long run we need to use an app server to do the pooling for us. Thanks again.
