The code in DefaultPersistenceUnitDependencyResolver.resolvePersistenceUnitSupplier seems to fairly deliberately search only within the context of an application. So is this intended behaviour? (I.e. that services within an ear may only reference persistence units that are also contained in that ear.) Or is there some other way of referencing a persistence unit across the ear boundary?
