Hi all, I?m getting problem when deploying an Entity bean. Hope anyone can help me out with this one. Jboss 4.2.1.GA Jdk1.5 Error message when deploying the bean (start the default configuration): 07:45:38,769 INFO [EARDeployer] Started J2EE application: file:/Users/persegersten/Dev/jboss-4.2.1.GA/server/default/deploy/mytest.ear 07:45:38,770 ERROR [URLDeploymentScanner] Incomplete Deployment listing: --- MBeans waiting for other MBeans --- ObjectName: jboss.j2ee:ear=mytest.ear,jar=mytest-server-ejb.jar,name=BookTestBean,service=EJB3 State: NOTYETINSTALLED I Depend On: persistence.units:unitName=mytest --- MBEANS THAT ARE THE ROOT CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM --- ObjectName: persistence.units:unitName=mytest State: NOTYETINSTALLED Depends On Me: jboss.j2ee:ear=mytest.ear,jar=mytest-server-ejb.jar,name=BookTestBean,service=EJB3 It seams that my persistence unit doesn?t get installed and there is a circular dependency that prevents it from be installed. I?ve defined the persistence-unit in the persistence.xml (and is packed in META-INF of the mytest-server-ejb.jar). I?ve attached the persistence.xml file. Maybe the persistence unit should be deployed ?outside? the bean? Does anyone know what?s wrong??? Thanks for any help.
