Dear petemuir, Adding seam.properties to the root of the ejb archive has fixed my problem. Thank you. I left this file out of the archive since i saw the content was commented out (When i generated the seam application using Hibernate Tools). I still however, dont understand why seam would check for this file even if there's no content to be parsed.
