In cases where the API itself is in error, then the appropriate place to file these bugs would be in javaserverfaces-spec-public, i.e., here: https://javaserverfaces-spec-public.dev.java.net/servlets/ProjectIssues That way, we won't accidentally drop any of these reports on the floor as we move forward.
