Terry commented on JBSEAM-3483:
-------------------------------
Keon, yes seam does that for every s:link and s:button. This behaviours is not always
needed, but I think currently it can not be stopped.
it can chew up resource pretty badly when u have it inside ui:repeat etc.... there are
times I don't want to use s:link, but do it just because it supports action
attribute.
It would be nice if it has some conditional attribute like
initialize-page-params="false", default to true.
I have read posts on this issue but not aware of any solution or way around it, or perhaps
there is ?
conditional PARAM tag in .page.xml

Key: JBSEAM-3483
URL:
https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBSEAM-3483
Project: Seam
Issue Type: Feature Request
Reporter: Terry
Priority: Minor
Fix For: The future
It would be really useful if PARAM tag in .page.xml supports "if" attribute so
that it can be rendered conditionally.
