More or less what is being done by the seam wiki with the plugins. (I'm saying this cos at http://www.seamframework.org/Community/ToExtendSeamsPagesComponent, Pete was asking for a use case). I'm not sure about the solution proposed in this issue, but definitely making a couple of method of the current pages implementation public would greatly simplify a solution like the one posted at http://www.seamframework.org/Community/OverridingXhtmlAndPagaxmlFilesInAT...
