Here's a patch that adds three new events for:
- locale change
- theme change
- timezone change
Add locale / theme / timezone change notifications
--------------------------------------------------
Key: JBSEAM-536
URL:
http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBSEAM-536
Project: JBoss Seam
Issue Type: Feature Request
Affects Versions: 1.1.0.CR1
Reporter: Stephan Bublava
Priority: Minor
Attachments: change-notifications-patch.txt
Would it be possible to make LocaleSelector / ThemeSelector / TimeZoneSelector raise an
event, whenever the current value changes?
I'm thinking about a session-scope component, that would need to reload cached data,
when the theme changes, or kill itself, to enforce a new instance being created. This is
similar to ResourceBundle and Messages, which are special-cased by LocaleSelector.
