I have a scenario where neither the width or height should exceed 80px, yet the ratio should be maintained. Something along the lines of this syntax would probably do the job but you can probably come up with something nicer: <s:graphicImage value="#{image}"> <s:transformImageSize max-width="80" max-height="80" maintainRatio="true"/> </s:graphicImage>
