I made an attempt at this a few months ago because I'm a huge fan of openid. However,
I was very disappointed with the Java libraries for openid. The only one that seemed a
credible option relied on updating XML libraries in the endorsed lib directory, which
seems like an unacceptable restriction for something that would be a core Seam
capability.
Can you recommend an openid library? I would put this into seam in a heartbeat if we
could find an good open source openid implementation.

provide standard components to allow easy setup for openId support in a seam
application.
the seam identity contains both username and password fields.
an openId identity consist soly of an identity string.
ideally an openId authenticator takes in just a single openId identity, performs the
openId logn procedures and concludes (in case of succesful authentication in a logged in
session, with the identifier confirmed.
