Chris Simons commented on JBSEAM-3076:
--------------------------------------
Jay - I went back to your blog and found this comment from Joerg:
"there is a second patch available that entirely resolves the TimerServiceDispatcher
problem with Weblogic 10MP1. We tested it against SUN JVM 1.5.0.11 (Weblogic 10MP1 only
supports JVM's 1.5.0.11 and later) on Windows and it's working fine. The patch is
CR370259.
Cheers, Joerg "
So one would conclude that Oracle/BEA totally forgot to include both of the CR patches in
10.3? I can't even find 10.MP2 on the Oracle website.
I just hope I have reported correctly that JDK 1.6 may have resolved the second CR but of
course the first CR (TimeServiceDispatcher) still exists.
I can only imagine the kind of headaches this would cause with branching and merging when
it comes times to Seam 2.1
Update Weblogic reference guide with new patch information
