@Pete: and can't the jboss repository be simply listed in the <repositories>
section of the seam's bom (or weld-parent)? Just like the snapshot repository is.

In seam-bom-3.0.0-SNAPSHOT.pom there's a dependency on
org.jboss.spec:jboss-javaee-6.0:1.0.0.Beta4. The group id should be jboss-javaee-6.0
(https://repository.jboss.org/nexus/content/groups/public/org/jboss/spec/j...)
This prevents projects dependent on seam3 module snapshots to build.
