Dan Allen commented on JBSEAM-1562:
-----------------------------------
The other issue is that seam-gen uses a stylesheet that assumes the blueSky theme. I tried
it with emeraldTown and the result didn't look quite right. Now this, of course, goes
back to my point that RichFaces *really* needs some stylized buttons (not sure how they
forgot that one). So we might want to hold off anyway until we can do it in one step
(without 10 stylesheets).
However, pending we have some decent buttons, I think it is worth doing. It is a nice way
to show off RichFaces and gets people interested in trying different skins. Oracle tried
to push their skinning for months and no one cared. One because they look like crap, but
also because it was that small extra step that seemed hard. RichFaces is just so cool
looking that we want to show it off.
Okay, I am off the stand now.
add RichFaces/Ajax4jsf skin to seam-gen setup

Key: JBSEAM-1562
URL:
http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBSEAM-1562
Project: JBoss Seam
Issue Type: Patch
Components: Tools
Affects Versions: 1.3.0.ALPHA, 2.0.0.BETA1
Environment: seam CVS HEAD
Reporter: Dan Allen
Priority: Minor
Attachments: JBSEAM-1562-v1.txt
Original Estimate: 5 minutes
Remaining Estimate: 5 minutes
seam-gen uses RichFaces panels and widgets in the UI. However, the user is stuck with
the blueSky skin as the default. I think it would be really nice to add this question to
the setup questionnaire. It gives them that warm fuzzy feeling that the project they are
about to create will have some of their style added to it.
