Maybe the problem is in the way MockServletContext try to find the web.xml file.
URL webxml = getClass().getResource("/WEB-INF/web.xml");
In glassfish it returns an invalid URI that is passed to File constructor in line 44.

In jboss the example application works fine, but in glassfish v2 it throws an exception.
