1) was caused actually by jsf1.2_09 implementation, the html markup was incorrectly
generated (rendered) as well as a few other issues with ICEfaces framework(do you want a
list of ICE-jiras???) I'm not sure you want all the details here?
2) would this not be done at the application level?

Login works fine now but in the middle of booking process (after submiting hotel page)
user is redirected to main page and conversation timeout message is displayed.
Conversation remains present in workspace manager but switching to it results in main page
again.
