First -- we're outputting an input type="image", this may not be the desired behavior for the s:button -- it submits the form by default. (The seam docs refer to this control *not* submitting the form...) http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/interact/forms.html#input-control-types Second, if we want a value and image to be output together, we need to use a button element, not an input.
