you have reported issue for JBDS which has got another JIRA project and EAP has got also
different project. If you have a Red Hat subscription for JBDS or EAP you must go through

you are right, generally you don't have to worry about setting up component, a
developer will set up the right component.
There is another reason, please see detailed description and reason with regarding to
rejecting enterprise product issues in JBSEAM-4790.
Anyway basically seam-gen doesn't have this feature, because the add value is not so
big for this. It can be very easily generated in IDE.

Marek - thanks for the link. Not sure how that would work in JBoss tools in Eclipse and
given it's a constant and not a generated value, I'm not sure it's even an
alternative. But it's nice to know the reason for the feature to be missing.
