What if I need 5 possible conditions. Do you expect me to write long sequence of nested ?
operators?
What if attribute doesn't allow EL expression at all?

The plan is to eventually support two constructs in JBoss EL:
(1) a switch operator
(2) a map constructor, allowing you to do: #{ {'foo'->1, 'bar'->2,
'baz'-3}.get('foo') }
