> Every vdbs are protected by single security-realm. It does not fit some enterprise requirement on a security workflow. Ideally, each vdb should be protected by its own security-domain like a servlet and an EJB.

[JBoss JIRA] (TEIID-3069) Quick Start Can't run against JDV
by Kylin Soong (JIRA)
Kylin Soong updated TEIID-3069:
-------------------------------
Comment: was deleted
(was: The '*.txt' can not be recognized by JDV 6.0, for example, in dynamicvdb-datafederation/src/vdb/portfolio-vdb.xml, we have the following line:
FROM (EXEC MarketData.getTextFiles('*.txt'))
This cause runtime error
TEIID30504 text-connector: File not found *.txt'. Originally TeiidProcessingException
This hints the file translator not recognize '*.txt', we have to change it to exact name instead)

> Sybase metadata loading fails[1] when deploying dynamic vdb.
> The problem is in JDBCMetdataProcessor.getForeignKeys. Method loads FKs from all tables, but it fails when it tries to load FKs from table sysquerymetrics. The problem seems to be that sysquerymetrics is not a system table, it is a view.
> [1] Reason:TEIID11010 com.sybase.jdbc4.jdbc.SybSQLException: No such object or user exists in the database.
