AEROGEAR-365 - Readme updates

Hi everyone, me and Jira are eager to solve this issue (https://issues.jboss.org/browse/AEROGEAR-365). Sande sent some updates to our readme attached at this JIRA, but I'm not sure about the reasons to update that. I'm leaning towards a wontfix for this. [aerogear-android-todo]

Howdy I was reviewing aerogear-android-todo, and noticed some issues 1) Why there is no history on the project? (and consequently, ownership history - passos contributed code hasn't got attribution) - even in cases of big rewrites and start-overs, it's nice to keep the commits, as the history of the incremental changes say a lot about the rationale/train of thought that lead to the final solution 2) Why aren't we following the maven project layout, as suggested by the archetype we are using? 3) Why the API and the example app are intermixed? - Ideally these should be separate repositories, like the iOS version -- qmx

TODO application - authentication & authorization

Good morning my friends. This week PicketBox and PicketLink got timed releases straight out the oven (https://docs.jboss.org/author/display/SECURITY/Timed+Release+2012-Sep-18), kudos to both teams, they are stepping up efforts to bringing security on AeroGear. If you're interested in how it works don't forget to visit this page https://docs.jboss.org/author/display/SECURITY/SecurityProjectsArchitecture. After these announcements, I couldn't resist to start to play with that and include it at our TODO app (thanks Pedro Igor for helping me with it). Is possible to see the results here https://github.com/aerogear/TODO.git under the tag -> 0.0.1.M6 <- (the latest stable commit). This is a working progress following the API documentation (https://github.com/aerogear/beta.aerogear.org/blob/master/docs/reference/...). Kris and Matthias have been exceptionally supportive in helping me with suggestions, bugs, features, full of JS and iOS love, thank you guys. Have you found a bug? abstract is a guy addicted to JIRAs, he just get happy when people leave a bug message to him. TODO App - Installation README

Hi, setting up my dev environment and trying to install the TODO app from the aerogear repo [1], I came across to a little problem. Although the instructions say to do "maven clean install" to produce the ear, *and then* start JBoss, what I experience is a build-failure on TODO-EAR if the AS is not already started prior to the build. I think we need to update the doc to explicitly say start JBoss AS prior to do "maven clean install" or disable "auto-deploy" on build. Need to check the jboss-as maven plugin.. [Maven] Link to 'proper' settings.xml example ?

Hi, not sure, but somehow I think that the 'Reference' section in [1] (Thanks for applying the grouping, Kris!) is missing a link to a valid/proper settings.xml file... I found the one at [2], doing some google fu... I looked for this, because I could not build the TODO app's picketbox branch. Not big deal, as it is a branch... => But not sure, I think a link to a 'common' settings.xml example is nice, especially for new contributors etc... so that they have a central example file, containing all the 'required' repos etc... Removing Access to jQuery.ajax Options

The more I build out the different pieces of aerogear.js, I realize that giving access to and promoting the use of direct options for jQuery.ajax defeats the purpose of the abstraction. The user could just use jQuery.ajax. I think to simplify the APIs, I am going to remove the access to those options and just provide the specific options I think would be useful for the user to have access to. Any thoughts or objections?

[TODO app] Picketbox branch

Hi, quick feedback on the branch; 1) NPE when accessing the '/userinfo' endpoint, w/o logged in user (see [1]) 2) Shouldn't all the endpoints be secured? Site review: PhoneGap vs. Apache Cordova
