My responses to the questions below:
* did the unregister from your app remove the installation from the variant
? (Should be visible on the AdminUI)
KDM: It did NOT remove it. I wonder if the device generated a new regID
which would possibly explain why it didn't unregister. Also, I didn't get
an error message with the unregister.
* is that "only" Cordova-Android? Or Cordova-iOS as well?
KDM: "only" Cordova-Android has these problems. Seems to happen more with
my Nexus 7. Maybe because its the device I use to test the most.
* did you notice the duplicate message being sent on "native" Android, or
just Cordova?
KDM: I am only using "Cordova"
