Hi Sanne,
Thanks a lot for your quick response.
I already went through the ideas page and I specially like to idea of
developing a .NET Client for HotRod wire protocol. I an quite familiar
with .NET framework and developing in Visual
as well as Java. I
also went though the code of Hot Rod wire protocol Java Client which
is hosted in github.
I'd be grateful if you could give me some resources or contact persons
that would be helpful for this particular project apart from all the
valuable information you gave me before.
Thank You

Hi Sunimal,
great, we would love to have you on board.
You're welcome to suggest ideas of your own, but you could also look at the following
page where we started drafting some things we believe would be very useful and suited for
students:
https://community.jboss.org/wiki/StudentContributorProjectsWithInfinispan
For an overview of Infinispan you can start by looking at:
- The Getting Started Guide:
https://docs.jboss.org/author/display/ISPN/Getting+Started+Guide+-+Downlo...
- The user guide:
https://docs.jboss.org/author/display/ISPN/User+Guide
- And of course having a look into the source code:
https://docs.jboss.org/author/display/ISPN/Contributing+to+Infinispan
It's perfectly fine to use this mailing list to get in touch with the team, but it
should be the one to use for development purposes. If you have simple questions on
specific problems as a user, please use the forum:
http://www.jboss.org/infinispan/forums
We don't have a specific area to discuss student contributions, feel free to write to
this list, or address me directly. I'm applying as mentor for this, I might not be
alone so maybe someone else will follow you (also depending on the topic), but to get
started feel free to ask or propose me anything.
Cheers,
Sanne

and be familiar with infinspan so that I can come up with a good proposal?
