We would need to make a few other implementations on the journal. Like..
we keep a list of records in memory, so we can quickly discount the
counter and perform Garbage collection quickly of old files.
It is possible, but the Journal would become a new project, requiring
more time. And I didn' t want it to become a Database.
I will keep this in mind.

simple record based transaction db, and that could definitely be
mapped. The key hash could be used to map to a block that would
