I think I can try. Actually, I would like to continue coding in Infinispan!
The problem is I will probably take a time to do anything (too much work).
I will watch the issue on Jira. If I solve this before someone start to
code, I make a pull request.

Looks like the easy solution is to store the set of known types as an
entry, but even assuming there are no classloader issues there are some
not so clear side effects, such as statistics getting skewed and similar.
